REBIDS BY THE 1§ OPENER

Note: This page is incomplete - only the rebids after a major-asking bid are developed.

If you opened 1§ and your partner made a first response (or your opponents have bid, keeping the bidding open), you should have a pretty good idea of where you are going. Your first responsibility is to show a 4-card major suit (if asked for), support for your partner's major (if bid) or indicate the nature of your hand otherwise.

If your partner has made a major-asking bid (i.e. 1¨ after a pass by LHO, Double after a suit bid by LHO and Redouble after Double by LHO).
