  • City trams (traditional): 1895 - 8 Dec. 2007
  • Rack railway (Zahnradbahn Stuttgart): 23 Aug. 1884 - today (originally steam operated, electrified: 11 July 1902)
  • Funicular (Standseilbahn) (electric): 30 Oct. 1919 - today

  • Stadtbahn (Light rail): 1435 mm.

TRAM PRESERVATION

The Straßenbahnwelt Stuttgart is a tram museum that also operates heritage tram services over city tracks.
